Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her most famous role was that of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child at Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of the stage. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie role. Anna's first big part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, she was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. The show was recast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the play Numbered Day. It is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in his relationship with Skyler can be seen in the show.
