Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely credited with initiating the contemporary research into the study of eyewitness memory and child victim witnesses within lawful circumstances. Professor Goodman, who has a wide range of research publications as well as numerous awards to her credit she is also the winner of numerous national and global awards. She has worked with various governments and agencies throughout the world regarding policies as well as research on child victims in the legal system. She has been a consultant with the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center and was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of several professional associations, such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions of Experimental Psychology, Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policies and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding member and International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
